Dr. Susanne Gorka

Dr. Susanne Gorka has over 33 years experience, treating patients of all ages and health conditions. Her personal and caring approach as well as her commitment to them, ensures that her patients get the help they need in a cheerful, caring and effective manner.

Dr. Gorka graduated with honours from the internationally respected Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1986. Previous to that she attended the University of Guelph for Human Kinetics. Some of the recent post-graduate professional development seminar topics she has attended include; spinal stenosis treatment, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, arthritis treatment, specific chiropractic techniques, shoulder rehab., foot and gait biomechanics, and disc herniation rehabilitation.

Dr. Gorka came to Ottawa in 1986 and worked with an older chiropractor downtown (Dr. E. Carson). She then opened the Ottawa South Chiropractic Clinic in 1988 with her husband, Dr. Normand Fortin. Dr.Gorka believes that your quality of life improves drastically with chiropractic care!

Dr Creaser

Dr. Douglas Creaser

Dr. Douglas Creaser has been a chiropractor since 2000. He spent 5 years working in Toronto at a Sports and Rehabilitation Clinic before returning to Ottawa. With extensive experience in the health and fitness fields, Dr. Creaser has tested, trained and treated patients from the general public through to high performance professional athletes.

Dr. Creaser graduated with honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2000. In 1992 he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa in Kinesiology. His commitment to professional development led him to become a certified acupuncture technician and a certified Active Release Techniques provider. He also achieved advanced level training in custom orthotic prescription.

As a previous competitive soccer player, Dr. Creaser competed at the National championships in Club Level Soccer, and continues to maintain an active lifestyle.

Dr. Vivianne Fortin

Dr. Vivianne Fortin provides exceptional bilingual Chiropractic Care. She is certified in medical acupuncture, muscle release technique, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy and much more. Dr. Fortin is attentive and helps patients in a cheerful, personal and effective manner.

Dr. Vivianne Fortin’s journey with chiropractic started at a very young age- in fact her very first check-up was within a few hours of being born! Though Dr. Fortin has come to realize that chiropractors are not a staple to every family, she continues to believe that chiropractic should be a first stop when an individual is injured in order to expedite the healing process.

Dr. Fortin loves spending time outside and staying active through playing sports. She has played various sports at competitive level including alpine skiing, soccer, Muay Thai and basketball. Currently, ultimate frisbee is keeping her physically fit and satisfying her competitive spirit. Having only started playing ultimate frisbee in university, it wasn’t long before Dr. Fortin’s natural athleticism was recognized and she reached international level, representing Canada at Worlds in Toronto in 2013 and again in Italy in 2014. As a true athlete, Dr. Fortin has appreciated the benefit of regular chiropractic care to enhance coordination, proprioception and balance- all important attributes to give an athlete that competitive edge.

Dr. Fortin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa with a BSc. specialization in Human Kinetics (Honours). She then attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the prestigious Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has further continued her education by becoming a Certified Acupuncture Provider.

Dr. Vivianne Fortin thoroughly enjoys using her unique skill and passion for chiropractic care to reduce pain and disability, optimize function, and improve the quality of life of her patients. She looks forward to working with you!

Isabel M. Staudinger

Isabel graduated from The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Sutton,
Ontario in 1992. Over the past 20-plus years,Isabel has been a registered massage therapist in a variety of health care settings. She is proficient in numerous types of therapeutic message including Swedish, Myofascial release and Stretch techniques.
As a former competitive body builder, Isabel is well versed in weight training strategies.
